About the project
Plantarium is a project founded by two gardening enthusiasts who provide landscape services, pottery, tools, and tips for plant care. For the branding system, I used surreal illustrations that play with the scale of plants to evoke the unbreakable bond we have with nature.
The branding is built on two main principles: the elegance and mysticism of nature. Stationery shapes abstract elements like leaves, hands, dirt, and water. A major inspiration was the work of Hayao Miyazaki, whose films beautifully depict the relationship between nature and humankind, translating into a fantastical storytelling experience.
